The online classes for students of class XI under Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) of academic year 2020-21 will start on Sunday at government and private colleges in the country.
Education Minister Dipu Moni as the chief guest and Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury Nawfel as special guest will inaugurate the online class in a programme for the students admitted to class XI at Dhaka College this morning.
Professor Ziaul Haque, Chairman of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Sub-Committee, and Chairman of Dhaka Education Board said that the concerned authority cannot start class activities due to coronavirus pandemic and that is why the online classroom activity has been introduced to keep the students involved in their studies.
Earlier, the online admission process started on August 9 last. The deadline for admission to the college was from September 13 to September 21.
