Results of 40th BCS written being delayed

The results of written test of 40^th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) will be delayed although it was supposed to be announced by December.

Sources at the Public Service Examination (PSC) said the results will be delayed as some answer scripts of the written test will be verified by third examiners.

The PSC wanted to publish the results of written test of 40^th BCS examination, which was held at the beginning of the current year, at the last week of December.

Controller of Examination (cadre) of PSC Nur Ahmad said, “It is not being possible to publish the results within December. We are trying to publish the results within quickest possible time. As a result, we are working on government holidays and Saturday as well, but some answer scripts of the written test are being checked by third examiners. Under this situation, the results of the BCS are being delayed.”
