The government published revised shorten syllabuses for this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC), Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations in the face of criticism.
The syllabuses were published on the website of Dhaka Education board after it was approved at a meeting held with Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni in the chair on Thursday.
Earlier on January 25, the Dhaka education board published the curtailed SSC and HSC syllabuses prepared by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB).But the students, parents and teachers informed the education minister that the curtailed syllabus could not be completed within the allotted time of three or four months.
