Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
She took the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine at her official residence Ganabhaban in the capital Thursday afternoon.
Ashraf Siddiquee Bitu, assistant press secretary to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, confirmed information to the press.
Earlier, on January 27, the Prime Minister inaugurated the country’s experimental inoculation of Covid-19 vaccine invented by Oxford-Astrazeneca .
However, the country went into vaccination on February 7.
Covid-19 patient was first detected in Bangladesh on March 8, last year.
