The results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent level will be published after the next cabinet meeting.
Mohammad Abul Khair, public relations officer (PRO) of the education ministry, revealed this information on Wednesday.
He said it needs to issue ordinance before publication of results under special circumstances. The ordinance will be issued after the cabinet meeting. After that the results will be published.
Generally, the cabinet meeting is held on Monday of the week. No decision came regarding the results of HSC and equivalent level as no cabinet meeting was held this week.
Mentionable, the HSC and its equivalent examinations were supposed to be held on April 1, last year but the authorities concerned cancelled examinations due to coronavirus infection.
Later, decision was taken to announce results of HSC and equivalent level based on the results of Junior School Certificate (JSC) or Junior Dhakhil Examination (JDC), and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) or equivalent examinations.
In this regard, results of HSC will be determined on 25 percent of the results of JSC-JDC and 75 percent of the results of the SSC or equivalent examinations.
