Chattogram has recorded the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
This is the ever highest infection rate and also detection figure in the district after outbreak of coronavirus in the country.
The district has recorded 1,003 new cases of the coronavirus, taking the tally to 67,787.
A total of 10 people died from coronavirus infections in the division over the period, taking the number of total deaths to 800.
During the period, 1,003people tested positive for Covid-19 after the test of 2,869 samples in different laboratories, said Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi.
