Twenty-lakh more doses of coronavirus or Covid-19 vaccines of Sinophram, purchased from China, will arrive in Bangladesh on Saturday, says media report.
Confirming the matter, Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Director General Prof Dr ABM Khurshid Alam said the vaccine doses will arrive in Bangladesh on Saturday night.
It is learnt that two separate aircrafts will bring the vaccines to the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka.
Bangladesh has purchased 1.5 crore doses of vaccines from Sinopharm. The vaccines are expected to arrive in the country within three months.
