In a bid to make the country’s technical education and training system modern and international standard, an agreement was signed among ITE Education Services in Singapore, Directorate of Technical Education and Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
The five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed virtually on Thursday (Sep 30), said Information and Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Education MA Khair.
On behalf of the institutions, director general of Directorate of Technical Education Dr. Md Helal Uddin, acting chairman of Bangladesh Technical Education Board Md Abdullah Al Mahmud Zaman and CEO of ITE Education Services in Singapore Bruce Poh Geok Huat signed the MoU.
Md Aminul Islam Khan, Secretary for Technical and Madrasah Education Division of the education ministry attended the event as the chief guest.
Lim Boon Tiong, Executive Officer of ITE Education Services, Singapore and other senior officials of Directorate of Technical Education and Bangladesh Technical Education Board were also present.
