The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations will likely be published on November 27-30.
Inter-Education Coordinating Board President and Dhaka Education Board Chairman Tapan Kumar Sarker made the disclosure on Tuesday evening.
He said a proposal will be sent to the Education Ministry in the first week of November mentioning November 27 to 30 as the probable date for publishing the results.
Later, the ministry will send the same to the prime minister and the results will be published on the day the premier gives her consent, he added.
Sources said preparation for announcing the results is going on. Many examiners have already started sending answer sheets after evaluation and somewhere evaluation is at the last stage.
This year, the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations began across the country on September 15 and ended on October 15 with practical tests.
A total of 20,21,868 students under 11 education boards took part in the exams.
The SSC and its equivalent exams are generally held in February every year but this year it was deferred to September due to the coronavirus spread and floods in Sylhet and other parts of the country.
